Lourdes Fisa

Born in Barcelona in 1964
Lourdes has an international art education with studies in Spain, Germany and in Chicago.

Her artistic development has always been motivated by an interest in investigating techniques and materials. Mixing techniques, combining engraving with painting, collage, drawing, photography... and at the same time alternative supports: paper, fabric, wood, and most recently fiber glass.

Her work seeks a balance between the referential and the abstract, a relation between space and time, with its maps, paths, limits and territories.

With several individual and collective exhibitions Lourdes art has already reached a large audience that is faithful to her.
